Improper resource shutdown in EFS Easy Chat Server 3.1 allows remote authenticated users to interrupt service via a crafted USERNAME. The HTTP GET request handler processes attacker-controlled USERNAME data into the denial-of-service condition, but the faulty routine and unreleased resource are undisclosed. A valid low-privilege session is required, and the documented consequence is limited to service interruption.
