Stored XSS via unescaped imported folder titles
Published Feb 5, 2024 · Updated Apr 8, 2026
Stored XSS in Ninja Team FileBird 5.6.0 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to inject scripts through imported folder titles. The folder-import path accepts title values without sufficient sanitization and later renders them without output escaping. Administrator access or a malicious import uploaded by a socially engineered administrator is required, and the script runs when a user opens an affected page.
