Stored XSS via unescaped blog card class
Published Mar 28, 2024 · Updated Aug 28, 2024
Stored XSS in Popozure Pz-LinkCard 2.5.1 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to execute script through a plugin setting. The Advanced page stores the unsanitized “Class ID to be Added (for PC)” value and emits it into a blog card's HTML class attribute without escaping. Administrator access is required to save the payload; script runs when a visitor moves the pointer over a generated card, enabling actions in that visitor's WordPress session.
