Admin-level stored XSS via CAPTCHA site key
Published Feb 20, 2024 · Updated Apr 8, 2026
Stored XSS in Fullworks Plugins Password Protected 2.6.6 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to inject scripts via a CAPTCHA key. The Google CAPTCHA Site Key setting stores administrator-supplied markup without sufficient sanitization and later renders it without output escaping. Administrator access is required, and execution is limited to multisite installations or sites where unfiltered_html is disabled when a user loads the affected page.
