Browser script execution via unescaped name parameter
Published Jan 17, 2024 · Updated Oct 21, 2024
Reflected XSS in Project Worlds Visitor Management System 1.0 allows remote attackers to execute script via the dataset.php name parameter. dataset.php places the URL-supplied name value into an HTML response without neutralizing executable markup, so a crafted value becomes browser-executed script. Exploitation requires a victim to open the crafted request, and the resulting script runs in the application's origin with access limited by that victim's session.
