Unauthenticated order-payment forgery via unchecked callback
Published Apr 9, 2024 · Updated Apr 8, 2026
Missing authorization in Clover Payment Gateway by Zaytech for WooCommerce 1.3.1 and earlier allows remote attackers to mark orders paid. The callback_handler function changes the associated WooCommerce order to paid without checking the caller's WordPress capabilities. Network access to a site with the plugin active is sufficient; the bounded consequence is unauthorized payment-status modification, not code execution or data disclosure.
