Information exposure in PPWP – Password Protect Pages 1.8.9 and earlier allows remote attackers to read protected-post metadata via API requests. The plugin's API protection path fails to filter password-protected posts from responses, exposing titles, IDs, slugs, and other metadata without validating a content password. No authentication or user interaction is required, and the reported consequence is metadata disclosure rather than protected body-content access.
