CVE-2024-0573Network attack vector

Authenticated memory corruption via overlong ip argument

Published Jan 16, 2024 · Updated Aug 1, 2024

Stack-based overflow in TOTOLINK LR1200GB 9.1.0u.6619_B20230130 allows remote authenticated users to corrupt process memory. An overlong ip argument supplied to setDiagnosisCfg in /cgi-bin/cstecgi.cgi overwrites a stack buffer. A low-privileged management session is required; exploitation can crash the CGI process or redirect its control flow.
