Authenticated action execution via missing CSRF validation
Published Jan 16, 2024 · Updated Jun 17, 2025
Cross-site request forgery in Xantech WIC1200 firmware 1.1 allows remote authenticated users to induce unwanted application actions. The web interface fails to implement CSRF tokens correctly, so it accepts state-changing requests without adequately verifying their origin. Exploitation requires an authenticated attacker to entice another logged-in user to submit the crafted request, and the resulting action uses that user's session.
