Published Feb 27, 2024 · Updated Aug 1, 2024
Improper access control in Mintplex Labs AnythingLLM before 1.0.0 allows remote authenticated users to export and download system data. The /system/data-export route applies validatedRequest but omits the flexUserRoleValid authorization middleware before invoking exportData(). A default-role account is sufficient, and invoking the route discloses the database and associated exported information through the returned filename.
