Buffer handling in Code Crafters Ability FTP Server 2.34 allows remote attackers to crash the FTP service via a crafted APPE command. The APPE command handler processes an oversized pathname without enforcing its destination buffer boundary, causing memory corruption and process termination. No authentication or user interaction is required; the bounded consequence is interruption of the FTP service.
