Database data exposure and modification via registration username
Published Jan 15, 2024 · Updated Jun 3, 2025
SQL injection in CXBSoft Post-Office 1.0 allows remote authenticated users to read and alter database data via username_reg. The /apps/reg_go.php POST handler fails to neutralize SQL syntax in the username_reg value before incorporating it into a database query. Exploitation requires low-privilege access from an adjacent network and can disclose, modify, or disrupt database-backed data.
