SQL injection via unneutralized sid parameter
Published Jan 14, 2024 · Updated Jun 17, 2025
SQL injection in CmsEasy 7.7.0 through 7.7.7 allows remote authenticated users to read or modify database data through the sid parameter. The getslide_child_action function in lib/admin/language_admin.php incorporates the attacker-controlled sid value into an SQL command without neutralizing SQL syntax. A low-privileged account is sufficient to alter backend queries, exposing database confidentiality and integrity and interrupting service.
