Compare-list deletion via missing nonce validation
Published Feb 20, 2024 · Updated Apr 8, 2026
Cross-site request forgery in WP Royal Royal Addons for Elementor 1.3.87 and earlier allows remote attackers to delete compare-list items. The remove_from_compare function accepts a forged request without correctly validating a WordPress nonce before removing the requested item from a user's compare list. Exploitation requires a site administrator to follow an attacker-controlled link or perform an equivalent action that submits the request.
