Authenticated database manipulation via unneutralized id parameter
Published Jan 13, 2024 · Updated Aug 1, 2024
SQL injection in Kashipara Group Billing Software 1.0 allows remote authenticated users to alter database queries through an HTTP request. The item_list_edit.php POST handler incorporates the id parameter into an SQL operation without neutralizing SQL control characters. A low-privileged application session is required, and successful injection permits unauthorized reading or modification of records available to the application's database account.
