CVE-2024-0453Network attack vector

Linked-account file deletion via missing capability check

Published May 22, 2024 · Updated Apr 8, 2026

Missing authorization in QuantumCloud WPBot 5.3.4 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to delete files from a linked OpenAI account. The openai_file_delete_callback AJAX handler invokes linked-account file deletion without checking the caller's capability. Subscriber-level WordPress access is sufficient; the documented consequence is deletion of OpenAI-hosted files rather than files on the WordPress host.
