Script execution via unescaped AJAX parameter
Published Jun 12, 2024 · Updated Aug 1, 2024
Reflected XSS in Repute InfoSystems ARForms before 6.4.1 allows remote attackers to execute script in a visitor's browser via an AJAX request. The current_modal AJAX action reflects the position_modal parameter into its response without properly escaping the supplied value. A visitor must open a crafted URL, after which injected script executes in the ARForms site's browser origin.
