Remote server crash via oversized GET path

Published Jan 11, 2024 · Updated Jun 17, 2025

Denial of service in File Sharing Wizard 1.5.0 and earlier allows remote attackers to crash its web server with an oversized HTTP GET path. The GET request handler processes a 1,360-byte URL path without rejecting the oversized input, causing the server process to terminate. No authentication or user interaction is required; a reachable HTTP service can be interrupted until the server is restarted.
