Authenticated remote code execution via crafted LINQ query

Code injection in Hitachi Energy MACH SCM 4.0 through 4.38 allows remote authenticated users to execute arbitrary server commands. The SCM server accepts a specially crafted LINQ query from the System Manager client and lets it bypass query validation before evaluating attacker-controlled code. A valid System Manager client session is required, and successful exploitation runs commands remotely on the SCM server.
