CVE-2024-0366Network attack vector

Subscriber-level settings disclosure via unvalidated object key

Published Feb 5, 2024 · Updated Apr 8, 2026

Improper access control in Starbox – the Author Box for Humans 3.4.7 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to read user settings. The action function uses a user-controlled object key to select stored preferences without validating whether the requesting account is authorized for that key. Subscriber access is sufficient; exposure is limited to plugin preferences and potentially other user settings, with no reported write or service-interruption capability.
