Authenticated SQL injection via category parameter
Published Jan 9, 2024 · Updated Apr 17, 2025
SQL injection in add-category.php in PHPGurukul Dairy Farm Shop Management System 1.0 through 1.1 allows remote authenticated users to alter queries. The category-creation handler places the category request value into a database statement without neutralizing SQL syntax, allowing crafted input to change the query. Low-privilege access from an adjacent network is required; successful injection can expose or alter application data and disrupt database-backed operations.
