CVE-2024-0341

File disclosure via GET path traversal

Published Jan 9, 2024 · Updated Apr 17, 2025

Path traversal in Inis 2.0.0 through 2.0.1 allows attackers to read files via the path argument to the File.php GET handler. The handler processes a crafted path containing ../filedir without confining resolution to the intended directory, so traversal escapes that directory. The public record does not resolve whether authentication or adjacent-network access is required; the reported consequence is file disclosure only.
