Missing authorization in Cozmoslabs Profile Builder 3.10.8 and earlier allows remote attackers to change role-based 2FA settings. The wppb_two_factor_authentication_settings_update function accepts an unauthenticated settings request and calls update_option without a capability check. The Premium component must supply 2FA functionality; exploitation enables or disables that control for arbitrary user roles.
