CVE-2024-0317Network attack vector

Session-detail theft via JavaScript parameter injection

Published Jan 15, 2024 · Updated Jun 3, 2025

Cross-site scripting in FireEye EX 9.0.3.936727 allows remote attackers to steal an authenticated user's session details. The web interface fails to neutralize JavaScript supplied through the type and s_f_name parameters before returning it to the user's browser. Exploitation requires an authenticated user to open the crafted content, and the documented consequence is limited to disclosure of that user's session details.
