CVE-2024-0292Known exploitationNetwork attack vector

Authenticated command execution via unneutralized hostName

Published Jan 8, 2024 · Updated Aug 1, 2024

OS command injection in TOTOLINK LR1200GB 9.1.0u.6619_B20230130 allows remote authenticated users to execute commands via a crafted hostName. The setOpModeCfg handler in /cgi-bin/cstecgi.cgi incorporates the hostName argument into an operating-system command without neutralizing command syntax. Access to the password-protected management interface is required, after which attacker-chosen commands execute in the router context.
