Reflected XSS via unescaped search parameter
Published Jan 13, 2024 · Updated Apr 8, 2026
Reflected XSS in Advanced Woo Search 2.96 and earlier allows remote attackers to run scripts in a user's browser via the search parameter. The Dynamic Content for Elementor integration renders the parameter into page output without sufficient input sanitization or output escaping. Exploitation requires that integration and a victim who follows a crafted link, enabling page-context data access or actions.
