Administrator script execution via unescaped log parameter
Published Jan 16, 2024 · Updated Jan 9, 2026
Reflected XSS in ARI Soft Contact Form 7 Connector before 1.2.3 allows remote attackers to execute script in an administrator's browser. The administrative log page returns the log query parameter in its HTML response without sanitization or output escaping. Exploitation requires an administrator to open a crafted URL, after which attacker-controlled script runs with that administrator's WordPress session privileges.
