Commit misdirection via unchecked hash-named imported refs

Resource injection in affected GitLab CE/EE releases allows remote authenticated users to misdirect commits through repository imports. The importer accepts branch or tag names formatted as 40- or 64-character hashes without applying the normal ref-creation check, allowing such a ref to resolve where an immutable commit identifier is expected. Exploitation requires high-privileged import access and can redirect code consumers to attacker-chosen repository content.
