Authenticated API data disclosure via unguarded proxy
Published Jan 29, 2024 · Updated Jun 6, 2025
Improper access control in Cloudflare WordPress plugin 4.12.2 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to read Cloudflare API data. The cloudflare_proxy AJAX action invokes Hooks::initProxy without restricting access to Administrators, so lower-privileged WordPress accounts can relay requests through stored API credentials. A valid low-privilege WordPress account and a configured Cloudflare API connection are required; disclosed data is limited to what those credentials authorize.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
