CVE-2024-0196Network attack vector

Authenticated code execution via resource-save endpoint

Published Jan 2, 2024 · Updated Jun 17, 2025

Code injection in Magic-API 2.0.0 and 2.0.1 allows remote authenticated users to execute arbitrary code through the resource-save endpoint. The /resource/file/api/save?auto=1 handler accepts attacker-controlled API resource content for Magic-API's dynamically compiled scripting workflow without adequate neutralization. Low-privileged application access is required, and successful injection can read or alter application data and interrupt the service.
