Improper isolation in NVIDIA Container Toolkit 1.16.1 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to create empty host files via a crafted image. NVIDIA and upstream advisories identify a TOCTOU race but do not disclose the affected function or the file-check and file-use operations involved. GPU Operator 24.6.1 and earlier is affected through its bundled toolkit; exploitation requires the image to run in default non-CDI mode and is limited to host-file creation and data tampering.
