System-file corruption via trace output path

External control of a file path in NVIDIA Triton Inference Server 22.09 through 24.03 allows remote authenticated users to corrupt files. The trace-settings endpoint accepts a client-controlled trace_file destination and writes generated trace records there without confining the path to a safe directory. High-privilege API access is required; successful use can tamper with files accessible to the server process and interrupt service.
