CVE-2024-0091

Data tampering and disclosure via untrusted pointer dereference

Published Jun 13, 2024 · Updated Aug 1, 2024

Untrusted pointer dereference in NVIDIA GPU Display Driver for Windows and Linux allows local users to read or alter data. A driver API accepts an attacker-controlled pointer and dereferences it without establishing that the address is trusted. Low-privileged local access is required; successful exploitation can corrupt data, disclose information, or crash the affected system.
