Credential theft via SQL encryption downgrade

Information disclosure in Microsoft.Data.SqlClient and System.Data.SqlClient allows man-in-the-middle attackers to steal SQL credentials. The providers accept a downgraded pre-login encryption negotiation, allowing an intermediary to replace protected transport with plaintext. Exploitation requires interception between the SQL client and server; affected applications can disclose database credentials despite requesting TLS.
