Unauthenticated administrator access via unreset proxy header
Published Nov 18, 2024 · Updated Aug 4, 2026
Authentication bypass in the PAN-OS 10.2, 11.0, 11.1, and 11.2 management web interface allows remote attackers to gain administrator privileges. The Nginx .js.map route fails to overwrite the client-supplied X-PAN-AUTHCHECK header, so uiEnvSetup.php accepts off and skips session authentication. Network access to the management interface is required; successful requests can perform administrative actions and alter firewall configuration.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
Is a vulnerable build present?
Compare these published version ranges with your installed build and any vendor patches.
