Privileged account creation via administrative service
Published Sep 23, 2024 · Updated Sep 24, 2024
Privilege escalation in Pure Storage FlashArray allows remote authenticated users to create a privileged account through an administrative service. Pure Storage has not disclosed which service or authorization error lets the request create an additional privileged account. A high-privilege account and network reachability to the service are required; successful exploitation grants persistent privileged access to array administration.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
Is a vulnerable build present?
Compare these published version ranges with your installed build and any vendor patches.
