CVE-2023-7326Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Unauthenticated power-off via malformed Web Config query

Published Nov 12, 2025 · Updated Nov 12, 2025

Denial of service in Epson Stylus SX510W firmware released through 2023-05-13 allows remote attackers to power off the printer via Web Config. The handler for /PRESENTATION/HTML/TOP/INDEX.HTML fails to parse a query containing consecutive ampersands and shuts down the device. Unauthenticated network access to the printer's HTTP service is sufficient, and successful exploitation interrupts printer operation until power is restored.
