Authenticated full API access via ignored permission
Published Oct 30, 2025 · Updated Oct 30, 2025
Incorrect authorization in Nagios Log Server before 2024R1 allows remote authenticated users to gain full API access. The Web API authorization and permission-enforcement layer accepts requests from accounts whose API Access setting is disabled instead of rejecting them. A valid limited user account is required; reachable endpoints can expose or modify API resources, with no reported code execution.
