Browser script execution via unescaped percentile input
Published Oct 30, 2025 · Updated Oct 30, 2025
Cross-site scripting in Nagios Network Analyzer before 2024R1 allows remote authenticated users to execute script in a victim's browser. The Percentile Calculator menu places user-supplied input into its web output without sufficient validation or context-appropriate escaping. Low-privilege access and a victim viewing the affected output are required; the script runs in the application's origin, enabling reads or writes of browser-accessible data.
