Unauthenticated command execution via path parameter

Published Oct 15, 2025 · Updated Oct 15, 2025

OS command injection in BYTEVALUE Intelligent Flow Control Router allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary shell commands via a crafted path parameter. The /goform/webRead/open endpoint inserts the path value into a shell context without validation, so shell metacharacters alter the command. No authentication or user interaction is required, and successful exploitation grants control of the router and its management functions.
