User metadata disclosure via unrestricted object identifier
Published Oct 16, 2024 · Updated Apr 8, 2026
IDOR in ACF Quick Edit Fields 3.2.2 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to read other users' ACF metadata. The get_acf_post_meta AJAX action accepts caller-controlled object_id and acf_field_keys values without restricting requested user metadata. Contributor-level access and a valid AJAX nonce are sufficient; the consequence is disclosure of custom user metadata, not modification or service interruption.
