CVE-2023-7266

DoS and information disclosure via TCP hijacking

Published Dec 28, 2024 · Updated Dec 28, 2024

Connection hijacking in Huawei WS7200-10, WS7206-10, and TC7001-10 routers allows remote attackers to disrupt service or leak data. The firmware omits reverse-address validation and TCP connection tracking, allowing forged messages to be injected into hijacked TCP sessions. The attacker must share the victim device's LAN and obtain device and network information; impact is limited to DoS or information leakage.
