Out-of-bounds read in CISA ICSNPP-ETHERCAT through d78dda6 allows remote attackers to crash Zeek or expose process memory. A crafted EtherCAT packet makes the plugin parser read beyond the available packet data; CISA has not identified the affected function or field. No authentication or user interaction is required when attacker-controlled EtherCAT traffic reaches the monitored interface.
