Settings modification via missing CSRF validation
Published May 15, 2025 · Updated May 16, 2025
Cross-site request forgery in illi Link Party! 1.0 and earlier allows remote attackers to change plugin settings through an administrator. The plugin's includes/admin.php settings handler accepts an action=update POST and applies submitted option values without verifying a CSRF nonce. Exploitation requires a logged-in administrator to open attacker-controlled HTML, and the demonstrated consequence is toggling a plugin option.
