CVE-2023-7213Network attack vector

Authenticated memory corruption via v33 stack overflow

Published Jan 7, 2024 · Updated Jun 17, 2025

Stack-based buffer overflow in TOTOLINK N350RT 9.3.5u.6139_B20201216 allows remote authenticated users to corrupt memory through HTTP POST requests. The main function in /cgi-bin/cstecgi.cgi mishandles the v33 login value, causing it to overrun a stack buffer. Administrative web access is required; the public record establishes memory corruption but does not document reliable code execution.
