Remote denial of service via device reset handler
Published Jan 7, 2024 · Updated Jun 3, 2025
Denial of service in Uniway Router 2.0 and earlier allows remote attackers to interrupt service via the Device Reset handler. The /boaform/device_reset.cgi endpoint processes crafted remote input in an undisclosed manner that leaves the router unavailable. No authentication or user interaction is required, but public evidence does not identify whether the interruption is a crash, reboot, or hang.
