Entry deletion via unchecked AJAX capability
Published Feb 27, 2024 · Updated Aug 27, 2024
Missing authorization in RedNao Smart Forms before 2.6.87 allows remote authenticated users to delete form entries through an AJAX action. The rednao_smart_form_delete_entries() handler accepts attacker-chosen entry IDs without a capability check, and the action also lacks CSRF validation. Subscriber access permits direct deletion; alternatively, remote attackers can induce logged-in users to submit the deletion request.
