Settings modification via missing CSRF nonce
Published May 15, 2025 · Updated May 20, 2025
Cross-site request forgery in Ani2Life WP-Reply Notify 1.1 and earlier allows remote attackers to change settings through an administrator's browser. The settings endpoint accepts attacker-supplied POST fields without verifying a CSRF nonce before saving them. Exploitation requires a logged-in administrator to open attacker-controlled HTML, and the demonstrated consequence is unauthorized modification of notification settings.
