Administrator-browser script execution via unescaped formtype

Published Jan 22, 2024 · Updated May 30, 2025

Reflected XSS in EventON RSVP Events before 2.9.5 allows remote attackers to execute scripts in an administrator's browser. The evors_get_rsvp_form AJAX action returns the attacker-controlled formtype POST parameter in its HTML response without sanitization or contextual escaping.
