Browser script execution via unneutralized engineer names
Published Dec 29, 2023 · Updated Apr 17, 2025
Cross-site scripting in Engineers Online Portal 1.0 allows remote authenticated users to execute script in another user's browser. The Add Engineer handler accepts script markup in the first name and last name fields, which the application interprets as page content. Administrator access is required to submit the crafted engineer record, and execution requires another user to view the affected output.
